EDTECH TIP

The Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (SIDLIT) conference, a gathering of instructional technologists, educational technology specialists, instructional designers, online faculty, technology leaders, assessment coordinators, librarians, and more who are involved with distance learning, instructional technology, or online programs, will be held July 28-30.  Proposals to present are due May 16.

PROFESSIONAL ENRICHMENT

Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art is open to JCCC classes for guided tours or self-guided visits by appointment. Tours are offered in the museum's second-floor permanent collection galleries, and the first-floor permanent collection exhibitions now offer dozens of never-before-seen artworks by a diverse range of artists. You can work with Katherine Morse, Nerman Education Coordinator, to discuss how to incorporate a visit to the museum into your discipline or curriculum.  Museum educators are also available to meet with you and your classes to showcase museum objects using Zoom. Please visit their website for pre-visit planning.
