SPOTLIGHT ON ACHIEVEMENT
Did you know Laura Ziegler, adjunct assistant professor of journalism and media communications, is also a community engagement reporter and producer at KCUR 89.3 - NPR in Kansas City? In addition to her teaching duties, she’s on the front lines, covering local stories. In the past several weeks, she has written for a series called The Next Normal, documenting how the lives of people in Kansas City have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home orders.
