SPOTLIGHT ON ACHIEVEMENT
Laura Harris-Gascogne, Fine Arts Professor of ceramics, was just awarded a Fulbright Scholarship which will occur in conjunction with her sabbatical in January 2021. Gascogne applied for and was awarded a Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellowship to India. Her research project, “Sustainability of Traditional Terracotta Artisan Communities in West Bengal,” will require her to travel to West Bengal to the University of Kalyani, where she will coordinate her study with the Department of Folklore.
