SPOTLIGHT ON ACHIEVEMENT

Professor Hugh Clark appointed as State Rep for Accreditation Advisory Council

Prof. Hugh Clark, Chair of Automation Engineer Technology has been appointed the Vocational-Technical rep for the state Accreditation Advisory Council. The AAC provides input to the Kansas Department of Education on K-12 accreditation and general issues of policy, particularly those with post-secondary relevance. State School Board Member Ann Mah, of Topeka, invited the KNEA and FA to submit names for the Council. Hugh's reputation of advocacy for career-technical education and his experience with last year's shared governance task force made him a natural fit.

Students received the email in stumail. Please check your email – it may be in your clutter or junk mail - and take it by September 30. The survey is part of the college's larger Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Assessment, conducted by MGT Consulting.
